Hit & Run Investigation Leads to Two Arrests

Tuesday morning, Officers responded to the State Fair Shopping Center, 1400 South Limit Avenue, to investigate a single-vehicle accident.

The Officers learned the driver of the single-vehicle accident had fled the scene prior to Officers’ arrival.

Patrick K. Reeves Jr., 27, of Sedalia, was located a short time later in the 600 block of South Barrett Avenue. Reeves was arrested for Driving While Suspended and Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident. Reeves was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail.

During the investigation, an uninvolved female at a residence in the 600 block of South Barrett Avenue (the same building as Reeves), was identified as Salina M Reyna, 33, of Sedalia. A computer check through Joint Communications revealed and confirmed Reyna to have an active warrant from Pettis County.

The warrant stemmed from an incident in September. In that incident, according to the probable cause report, a victim reported that Reyna had taken naked photos and a video of her without her consent while they were dating. Those photos were sent via social media, including a threat demanding the victim to send money to Reyna through a Cash App account.

Reyna was arrested for her warrant on charges of Nonconsensual Dissemination of Private Sexual Images. Reyna was transported to the Pettis County Jail, pending a cash or surety bond of $10,000*.

*According to Casenet # 23PT-CR01523, Reyes was also issued a criminal summons for Driving While Intoxicated (Alcohol and Drugs) on November 15th, the day before the Dissemination charge was filed. The DWI incident was in June 2023, which was reported by KSIS here.
