An Iberia woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday night in Miller County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2005 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by 37-year-old Cassandra T. Tidwell of Iberia, was on Missouri 42 at Brays Church Road around 10 p.m., when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, and struck two embankments.

Tidwell suffered serious injuries and was flown by MU Air to University Hospital for treatment.

The Suburban was totaled.

Tidwell was later arrested by the Patrol at 11:05 p.m. She faces charges of DWI prior offender, and failure to maintain the right half of the roadway.
