JoCo Sheriff Updates On Man Found In Timber Hills Home
Sheriff Scott Munsterman provided an update on an incident that occurred in the Timber Hills area of Johnson County on Facebook.
Deputies responded to a home in the 200 block of NW 51 Road where the victim reported that an unidentified male was discovered in their residence when they arrived home around 7:30 AM CDT. The victim described the assailant as male, with no accent, approximately five feet, ten inches tall, and weighed about 180 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask, canvas pants, camouflage hunting jacket, cloth gloves, and boots.
Sheriff Munsterman, in his update to the community, acknowledged the concerns of area residents but said the Sheriff's Office cannot disclose specific details about the ongoing investigation. He also assured the community that every effort is being made to ensure the safety and security of the community.
The Johnson County Missouri Sheriff's Office says anyone with any information regarding the above incident or who has witnessed any suspicious activities in the area should contact Johnson County Central Dispatch at 660 - 747 - 5511. Munsterman says any information could be crucial to the investigation, regardless of its perceived significance.
The Sheriff encourages Johnson County residents to remain vigilant and to take appropriate precautions to ensure their personal safety. Additionally, he recommends locking your doors and windows and reporting any suspicious behavior.
