On Sunday at 9:46 p.m., Sedalia Police were checking the area for a subject when they came across a subject attempting to flee the area after spotting law enforcement. Officers made contact with the subject, who was actively trespassing at Katy Depot, 600 E. 3rd.

A computer check through Joint Communications revealed that 45-year-old Christopher Michael Stein, of Concordia, was wanted for his felony Failure to Appear warrants on two original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Stein’s Probation Violation warrant concerned original charges of Non-Support of a Minor Child from Johnson County.

Stean was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.
