The 2023 Scott Joplin International Ragtime Music Festival is in full swing now in downtown Sedalia, after a Welcome Social hosted by Artistic Director Bryan Wright was held last night at the Pavilion, 2nd and Ohio.
Free performances are scheduled from 9 to 5 daily at the Stark Tent, the Pavilion and the Katy Depot.

Paid concerts will be held at 2 and 7:30 daily at the Liberty Center, as well as a morning Symposia from 9 to noon. Today's Symposia features Christina Austin, Brandon Byrne and William McNally. Tickets for the daily Symposia are $15.

Tonight, the Clay Clear Band will perform at the Pavilion from 6 to 7:30.

And at 10 p.m., there will be a Ragtime Afterglow at the Pavilion.

This year's theme is Palm Leaf Rag.
