When I was a kid growing up in Chicago we'd all save our Pepsi bottle caps because they were good for admission to kids movie screenings at the theater in the mall. You don't need to save your bottle caps to get into a kids movie screening anymore, the AMC Classic 10 in Warrensburg is only charging $4 dollars for screenings of popular, but older, kids movies every Wednesday morning.

It's a thing they call Summer Movie Camp. For their $4 dollar ticket, kids not only get to see the film they also receive a drink, a pop corn and AMC's Footi Tootis. This according to an article from Fox 35 in Orlando. That's pretty good. Our Pepsi bottle caps, by the way, didn't get us anything from the snack bar.

This morning's movie at the AMC Classic 10 in Warrensburg was Trolls. Other movies being screend this summer include:

  • "The Lego Movie 2 The Second Part..."
  • "Hotel Transylvania 3 Summer Vacation"
  • "Peter Rabbit"
  • "Teen Tians Go! To the Movies"
  • "Wonder Park"
  • "Smallfoot"
  • "How to Train Your Dragon The Hidden World"
  • "The House With a Clock in the Walls"
