A Magical Drive Thru Xmas Light Display Could Be Missouri’s Best?

When the sun goes down, and it is really dark outside, it sure is nice to check out Christmas lights. The brighter, the better.  Well, maybe not Christmas Vacation bright, but you get the idea.  Now we have the Light Up Liberty drive through that is very nice every year, but if you would like to drive to see another one, you may find that North Pole Acres in Oak Grove Missouri will be worth the 1 hour drive.

When you arrive at North Pole Acres, make sure to tune your radio to 87.9 FM.  There will be 22 songs that are synced up to the light displays which has over one million pixels which translates to about 16 million colors.  You will see quite a lot.

This would be a nice drive through for anyone, no matter what you age.  So bundle up and pack the family for the drive.

Now there is a charge of $25 (Per car) to get in, and you are allowed to go through twice in case you missed some of the displays.  You can purchase tickets ahead of time HERE or purchase at the entrance.

From the moment you enter the 20-acre light park you will be amazed as various Christmas-themed displays unfold before your eyes. While enjoying the ultimate holiday experience, their state-of-the-art sound system will totally immerse you in an audio-visual Christmas extravaganza that even Santa would love. By the time you’ve driven through our one-mile course you’ll be tempted to do it all over again!

If you are interested of paying a little extra and not drive, you can reserve a private carriage ride, on Sundays.  You can have up to 10 people for $100.  They are open until the beginning of January, so you still have time to check them out.  Open nightly from 5:30pm to 10pm.  Website link is HERE.
