Ever wanted to have a say in which words are actually, well, words? Now’s your chance — UK dictionary publisher Collins is asking the public to suggest new words to include in its latest edition.

Normally the submission process is limited to staff and other insiders, but this year, Collins’ editors have opened it up to all English speakers. If a word you submit is accepted, you’ll even be credited on the definition page on the publication’s website.

And between now and August 31, everyone who sends in a word will be entered into a contest for daily prizes like a Microsoft smartphone — which was donated by the software giant after the word “superphone” was submitted by a Collins reader.

Other words that are currently under editorial consideration? “Super PAC,” “photobombing,” “Tebowing” and “amazeballs.”
