Just this past weekend, when Husbando and the girls were hanging out on Saturday morning, I asked what I thought was a pretty normal question. "What do you guys want for breakfast?"

Moreland shrug.  "I dunno, whatever you wanna make..."

Fine. Toast it is.  So, I go to yon kitchen and make some toast. I holler across the house, "What do you want on your toast?"

"PB&J is fine!"

Even better. Easy.  So, I get out the butter, I apply said butter, and then I get out the peanut butter and the grape jelly.  Classic. I put the peanut butter on one piece of toast, and I put the jelly on the other piece of toast.  Then, I take the breakfast to Husbando.

"Huh? Why did you do that? Why didn't you put it on both slices?"

I don't know, that's just the way I've always done it. That's the way my  Mom did it, that's the way it was my whole life. If you have peanut butter and something else, you don't necessarily mix them together willy nilly on an English Muffin or a piece of toast.  But to Husbando, this makes me some kind of freakjob.

Next time he's gonna get his own toast. Am I the only one that does this? Is it strange, or am I the weirdo here?

Toastily yours,
Behka
