Sweedish footwear label Tretorn announced back in February that André 3000  is its new creative director and artist series headliner, following in the footsteps of Pharrell and Yasiin Bey. Known for his eccentric style, 3 Stacks is now featured in Tretorn's Fall 2017 global advertising campaign.

“We wanted to work with Andre because he resonates with all ages and he’s an OG,” Nick Woodhouse, chief marketing officer and president of Tretorn’s parent company Authentic Brands Group, siad in a statement. “He’s not a flavor of the month. There are a lot of terrific, young influencers out there, but Andre is established. These young kids are reaching out to him to collaborate. That’s why we did this.”

André 3000 served as the first face to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous Nylite footwear model. To celebrate the original 1967 release of the Nylite, Tretorn redesigned the model to connect with a new generation.

“Tretorn’s Nylites are a true classic that have been a staple in my shoe rotation since I was a kid,” André said in a press statement. “It’s great to celebrate the brand’s heritage for their 50th-anniversary campaign.”
