2020 has hit us hard. Some harder than others. Cancellations of family events, weddings, picnics, vacations, and visits to our grandparent's house. We've been stuck inside our houses more than usual. The list goes on and on. For many it's too much to handle. Fatigue has set in, Stress has increased. Are you experiencing fatigue due to Covid-19?

According to an article on yahoonews.com, pandemic fatigue is real and it's affecting many around the world.

“It (Covid-19 Pandemic) has come at an extraordinary cost, which has exhausted all of us, regardless of where we live or what we do.”

In the yahoonews.com story, a bit of news that hits close to home in the Midwest is the county of Gove, Kansas, population 2600, nine people have died in recent days.

Many of us know of someone that has had the coronavirus. Maybe it's been you.

We went to the KIX 105.7 Facebook page and asked the question, "Do you feel more fatigued due to the Covid-19 pandemic?" Here's some of the responses we got back-

Janie A. - Yes, terribly fatigued.

 

Diana Q. - Yes and tired of all the riots and media and political stuff

 

Tosha C. - Yes not to mention the 12 hour work days 6 days a week.

 

Danielle M. - Mental fatigue which overflows into physical fatigue, YES.

 

Yvette A. N - Yes!! Not sure why but yes

Whether it has or hasn't affected you, take note that many are feeling the effects of the pandemic. So before you debate, irate, or imitate like you know how a person is feeling, take a step back, take a breath, and remember we're all in this together.
