Be a Star When You Record a Kix 105.7 Station ID

We know some of you listen to more than one radio station, so if you're both an Awesome 92.3 and Kix 105.7 listener we wanted to make sure you didn't miss this great opportunity to be a part of something fun we're doing on Kix 105.7.

Ever want to be a radio star? Or think it would be cool to hear your voice on Kix 105.7? We can make that happen. We want you to help us with our Kix 105.7 station ID's.

You can record one of our ID's sitting at your desk, in your car (although don't do it while you're driving), or from your easy chair. You can do it by yourself. With your co-workers. Or with your bestie.

So what do we want you to say? In general: Anything that's complimentary towards the radio station, or our DJ's. Or tell us where you listen. In the car. At work. At home. When you're taking the kids to school. Whatever. And make sure you tell us your name and the town that you live in. If you're talking about where you work you can mention that too.

Another thing. Don't make your ID too long. We want to run these ID's over song intros and between songs. So the longer they are the harder they might be to schedule.

Hi this is (first name) from (town) and I love Number One for New Country Kix One oh Five Seven. 

Hi this is (first name) from (business) and we love listening to Kix One oh Five Seven at work! 

Hey this is (first name) from (business) and Kix One oh Five Seven makes my workday fly by. 

Hi this is (first name) from (town) and I wake up with Kix One oh Five Seven every morning! 

Hey this is (first name) from (town) and I love the music you guys play on Kix One oh Five Seven.

Hi this is (first name) from (town) and I love it when you play (your favorite country artist that we play) on Kix One oh Five Seven. 

Once again feel free to riff off of these suggestions or come up with something on your own.

So how can you record your ID for us? That's simple. You can record it and send it to us on the Kix 105.7 app. Here's how you can do that:

1. Open the app and click the "Record an ID" button. When this screen pops up fill out the information.

2. Once you have the information filled out click record short audio clip.

3. It brings up the screen below. Allow our app to access your phone's microphone

4. When you're ready to record, hit record. If you're happy with your recording hit submit. If you don't like it hit cancel and try again. That's all there is to it. Once we get your recording listen for us to play it on the air!
