If you're looking to pair a nice wine with your meal, Wine Spectator says you should head to the Ivory Grille and Oak Room Lounge on South Ohio in Sedalia. The restaurant and lounge was awarded Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence for 2021.

According to Wine Spectator, "Wine Spectator's Restaurant Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine, and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers."

Not that Sedalians and Missourians who travel through Sedalia need a wine website to turn them on to the restaurant. It is the place to go to impress a date, celebrate an anniversary, or just have a memorable family dinner. Yaknow, the kind of place you wear a nice shirt and pair of dockers too.

According to the Ivory Grille website, "Our Chef offers scrumptious dinner entrees and weekend specials - including our weekend Prime Rib special. Enjoy hand-cut steaks, delectable seafood entrees as well as budget-friendly pasta and sandwich options."

And the Oak Room Lounge is a great place to enjoy that glass of that wine you've seen on their wine list that you want to try.

The Ivory Grille and the Oak Room Lounge won Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence.

These wine lists, which offer at least 90 selections, feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Whether compact or extensive, focused or diverse, these lists deliver sufficient choice to satisfy discerning wine lovers.

Congratulations to the staff and management of the Ivory Grill. They're open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM CST. And the Oak Room Lounge opens at 4:30 PM CST Tuesday through Saturday. Here's their listing on Wine Spectator's website.
