Benton County Sheriff Deputies found the body of a 58-year-old Pettis County Woman in the commuter parking area at the junction of 65 & 52 in Cole Camp at approximately 6:30 AM CDT yesterday. This is according to a post on the Benton County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

The Pettis County Sheriff Office asked for assistance from the Benton County Sheriff Office because a potentially suicidal resident's phone was located in Benton County.

The Benton County Sheriff's Office is sending its prayers to her family. And reminds the public that suicide is preventable. They urge anyone contemplating suicide to contact the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 800-273-8255 or to get in touch with local law enforcement for help.
