Beginning Feb. 27, Bothwell Health Center-Truman Lake in Warsaw will offer walk-in hours from 10 a.m., to noon and 2 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Keith Morrow, Bothwell Clinic Operations vice president, said the move will provide more access and convenience to patients who need urgent health services or primary care..

“Our Warsaw clinic is a vital health center hub to the community and surrounding areas,” Morrow said. “We know how important it is for people to have a physician or provider close to home and to see them as soon as possible. Offering walk-in hours will allow patients to be seen when they’re ill or injured without having to wait for an appointment."

Morrow said the walk-in clinic hours are not for people with emergency needs such as heart attacks, stroke or broken bones.

“Serious illness or injury will be referred to our Emergency Department or a specialist for a higher level of care,” he said.

The medical team at the Warsaw clinic includes Dr. Sarah Hasek, Nurse Practitioners Chelsea Casteel and Karen Walters and Physician Assistant Jaime Reed. They see and treat patients of all ages for preventative family medical care, illnesses and injuries, medication monitoring and refills and perform annual health and well-woman exams and sports physicals. For people who want appointments, same-day appointments are still possible for available practitioners.

In addition to primary care, Bothwell specialists in cancer care, obstetrics, women’s health, orthopedics and sleep medicine visit the clinic regularly to see patients. The clinic also provides on-site X-rays, 3D mammograms, bone density screenings and lab services.

Bothwell Health Center-Truman Lake is located at 1765 Commercial Street in Warsaw. Regular clinic hours are 7 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, and the phone number is 660-438-6800.
