On Wednesday, Pettis County deputies took a burglary report at the Houstonia City Hall.

According to a report, entry was made into the building through a window to the office, where cash and checks were secured.

Approximately $958 in cash, along with personal checks from local residents who paid their bills at City Hall, were taken.

Fresh fingerprints found at the scene were lifted and will be sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol for analysis.
