If you can get yourself to St. Louis in the middle of next week, the Cardinals have a $5 Dollar midweek ticket special happening for their series against the Baltimore Orioles at Busch Stadium.

I'll admit it, I was hesitant to write about this because heading to St. Louis in the middle of the week to catch a ballgame in the middle of May just doesn't seem to be all that attractive to me. It seems too early to take a day, or a couple of days off work, to head to St. Louis to see a game. And on top of it, the kids are still in school. And don't get me started about the weather.

As for the Baltimore Orioles, well in the battle of the birds, The Cardinals are the far superior team. The Orioles are dead last in the American League East and already nine games out.

So yeah, this midweek series with the Orioles at Busch Stadium next Tuesday - Thursday, May 10 - May 12 doesn't have a lot going for it. However, if you can get to Busch Stadium next week and you don't mind sitting in the cheap seats, you can get a ticket for $5 dollars.

The $5.00 tickets are mostly on the highest level of the stadium, however, you can score Infield Terrace tickets, as well as tickets in the Right/Left Field Pavillion and Right Field Terrace. As well as some Right/Left Field Loge Seats. If being up high isn't really your thing, you can score seats a little closer to the action in the lower Right/Left Field boxes for $15.00 a ticket.

Bottom line, you're not going to score great seats for $5.00 or $15.00. Yet if you don't really care about sitting up high. Or you're just looking to get out and enjoy some fresh air, baseball, a hot dog, and a beer. Then maybe this could be a fun way to kill an evening or afternoon at the ol' ballpark for not a lot of cash.

The Tuesday and Wednesday night games start at 6:45 PM CDT, and the Thursday game is scheduled for a 12:15 CDT first pitch. If you're interested in taking advantage of this offer, while supplies last, you can head over to the Cardinals website to buy your tickets.
