CASA 5K Fun Run Results Listed

The Citizens Against Spouse Abuse (CASA) 5K Poker Fun Run, presented by Nucor, was held Saturday, April 2, on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.

The 5K run/walk was combined with a five-card poker run with five stops along the run/walk route.

CASA Executive Director Lori Haney commented on the Fun Run Monday:

"This event was a great way to kick off sexual assault awareness month. We are thankful for the partnership with the Sedalia Democrat, our elected officials, Nucor and our other sponsors. We truly appreciate everyone that participated in the 5K and the art show. They helped us raise $4900," Haney said.
