We all have our own opinions on being vaccinated for COVID-19. Some have been for it from the very beginning, some were adamant about not getting the vaccine, and others seem to be changing their mind as time rolls on. One that has changed his perspective is Kansas City Chiefs' TE Travis Kelce.

As Kelce was somewhat hesitant about getting vaccinated in the beginning, his viewpoint has changed recently. Now Kelce believes that everyone should get it. What is that has changed his mind? Family.

According to a statement made by Kelce in a story written by Sam McDowell from the Kansas City Star, after visiting with his family and thinking it over he decided it was probably a good thing to get vaccinated.

“I love being around family, (so) it was just kind of a family decision that if everybody got the vaccine, we would be able to be around each other safely and comfortably. So that was the biggest thing — it was huge for family."

Since Kelse has been in the limelight, both on and off-season, it makes since to maybe use his name and/or image to promote COVID-19 vaccinations to those that have been hesitant to do so.

For Kelce it may also have something to do with the NFL protocols for training camps and preseason. The difference between being vaccinated and not during this time could make for a big difference for the players.

Basically, if you've been vaccinated, you're good to go with all activities on and off the field. If you haven't you're seeing a lot "cannot-do's". A story on nfl.com, spells out the new rules.
