City of Sedalia Notes Street Closure for Thursday, Friday

East Third Street east of its intersection with South Engineer Avenue, will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. on July 8 until 5 p.m. on July 9, to allow for water main replacement.

Customers will be able to access parking for businesses in the area during construction activities.

Travelers are advised that the roadway will be closed due to heavy equipment in the roadway and they should plan an alternate route to avoid delays.
“We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to complete this water main replacement project which improves your community water distribution system,” the City said in a statement on Wednesday.
