Early Friday morning, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of South Marvin Avenue in reference to a disturbance.

Officers arrived on the scene and located the subject, who had three Pettis County warrants, two no bond and one with $10,000 cash or surety.

Scott Wayne Mathis, 46, of Cole Camp, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail on his warrants on original charges of Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle, Driving While Suspended, Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, felony Tampering With Physical Evidence in a Felony Investigation, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Mathis also had a felony Failure to Appear warrant for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.
