A Concordia woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday in Lafayette County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2004 Ford Freestar, driven by 57-year-old Monica D. Abbott of Concordia, was on I-70 at the 59.8 mile marker at 4:10 p.m., when she struck the rear of an eastbound 1999 Honda Odyssey, driven by 20-year-old Lake H. Young of Edwards. The Honda traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Abbott suffered minor injuries, and was transported by private vehicle to Lafayette Regional Hospital for treatment.

Both vehicles had extensive damage.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.

Lafayette County Deputies assisted the patrol at the scene.
