SFCC took on St. Charles Community College, the sixth-ranked team in a NJCAA Division II Men's Soccer Poll, at the Fred E. Davis Sports Complex on Saturday, Sept. 11 in a back-and-forth battle that finished with a 0-0 draw at the end of double overtime.

St. Charles had a great scoring opportunity from a penalty kick, but Morrison proved to be up to the task with a diving save with 38 minutes and 30 seconds remaining in the opening half. Both teams played well defensively and kept the match scoreless.

Ntene had a team-high five shots, two of which were on goal. Zubia registered four shots, two of which were on goal.

Morrison got the start in the net for SFCC and made nine saves.

"Both teams were evenly balanced and both had some chances," said Head Coach Jamie Beltran. "Our defense and our goalkeeper came up big. Wesley made some very good saves. You always want to win, but at the end the day after looking at everything, the tie was probably a fair result in that game."
