Four people were injured in a three-car crash that occurred in Pettis County Saturday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a southbound 2020 Jeep Compass, driven by 19-year-old Katie L. Goodson of Sedalia, failed to stop for a red light at Highway 65 and Route H at 7:35 a.m., and struck a southbound 2015 Ford Focus, driven by 53-year-old Timothy S. Kranz of Lincoln, which in turn struck a westbound 2016 GMC Sierra, driven by 73-year-old Jerry L. Hoehns of Sedalia.

Goodson, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report, suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Two of her passengers, 25-year-old Jacob D. Haulcy and 26-year-old Samuel J. Perez, both of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries and were transported to Bothwell as well. They were wearing seat belts.

Kranz suffered moderate injuries and was also transported to Bothwell. Kranz was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Sierra had minor damage, while the Compass and Focus were totaled.

Goodson was later arrested at 11:10 a.m. and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Failure to Stop at a Stop Light.

In addition, Perez was wanted on a felony warrant out of Decatur County, Indiana, for Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. He was arrested at 9:46 a.m. and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with no bond.
