Jessica Craig, of Florence, was appointed to the Missouri Development Finance Board by Republican Gov. Mike Parson on Wednesday.

Craig joined Economic Development Sedalia-Pettis County in 2016 as the Executive Director, leading business retention, business expansion, new business formation, and business attraction activities for Sedalia and Pettis County.

She has more than 18 years of economic development experience, including eight years leading statewide and regional efforts in business attraction and expansion for the Missouri Department of Economic Development. Ms. Craig has also led the workforce training divisions with Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City and State Fair Community College in Sedalia.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Bachelor of Science in finance from Missouri Valley College.
