Enquiring Minds: Smartphones Vs Dumbphones [SURVEY]

The other day I went to happy hour with my friend and some of her co-workers, and I struck up a conversation with one of the girls there. 

She seemed pretty cool and we had a lot in common.  It never hurts to make new friends, so I suggested we exchange numbers to hang out sometime. She pulled her phone out of her bag . . . and it was an old school NOKIA.  I mean the kind of phone that would be ANCIENT to teenagers today.

I asked about it, and she said the phone has never given her trouble . . . so she never thought to upgrade.  She's had it for almost ten years.

I don't know if it's a red flag or what . . . but doesn't pretty much everyone these days own a smartphone?  Is it weird that this lady doesn't have one?   If you don't have one, what's keeping you away?
