Bethel United Methodist Church to Host Heritage Festival

Bethel United Methodist Church in Hughesville, will host a Heritage Festival on Saturday, August 3.

The event is a way to celebrate the heritage of the country church, with was built in 1913.

There will be demonstrations on old farm equipment and implements of the era. The event takes place from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Activities include ice cream making, corn shelling, corn grinding, rock crushing, wood sawing and water pumping.

There will also be Hit & Miss gas engines, along with an antique washing machine.

Craft and flea market vendors will be set and there will be live entertainment, along with a quilt show and concessions. Admission is free!
