The Sedalia chapter of Church Women United (CWU) will hold an open house Monday, September 25 at noon at Community Church of Christ, 2000 South Ingram.
CWU is a racially, culturally and theologically inclusive Christian women's movement, celebrating unity in diversity and working for world peace and justice.
All Christian women are encouraged to join. Cost is $2 per year for chapter dues, or $7 per year for chapter and state dues.
CWU's community service extends to Open Door Service Center, Pettis County Community Partnership, Habitat For Humanity, Whittier School, Community Santa, Samaritan Purse, and other organizations.
CWU has meets monthly and has four celebrations per year.
