A public information event has been scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. at Boonslick Regional Library, 219 W. 3rd, concerning human trafficking.
Guest speaker for the event will be Nanette Ward from Central Missouri Stop Human Trafficking Coalition. She is a survivor of human trafficking, it was noted.
The meeting will take place in the library's downstairs conference room.
