The 2019 United Way Day of Action Kickoff is planned for Sept. 21 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Duke Warehouse at Main and Winchester in Sedalia with a breakfast with Chris Cakes.
Cost is $6 each (cash or credit). After the breakfast, volunteers will be working on projects from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All proceeds from the event will be invested in mental health initiatives, including substance abuse, in Pettis County.
The public is invited.
