Fire Damages Mobile Homes at Meadowlark Acres in Pettis County

Pettis County Fire and Pettis County Deputies responded, as well as PCAD, to a report of trailers on fire at Meadowlark Acres, south of Sedalia at 30650 Ball Road, just off US Highway 65, just before 7 a.m. this morning.

Pettis County Fire requested mutual aid from Sedalia Fire, who also quickly responded to the scene in the pre-dawn hours.

One trailer was completely destroyed, while an adjacent one was heavily damaged, judging by photos taken at the scene.

The fire, which was dispatched at 6:42 a.m., was deemed accidental, according to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office.
