Four people were arrested Tuesday around 3:30 p.m. after Pettis County deputies and a Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force detective served a search warrant in the 1600 block of W. 9th

The warrant was served as part of an investigation into stolen property and distribution of controlled substances.

During a search of the residence, several items of drug paraphernalia and a 9mm pistol were located, as well as evidence showing attempts to counterfeit US currency.

Following a search of the residence, four people were taken into custody and were being held at the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of formal charges by the Pettis County Prosecutor's office.

Taken into custody were:

41-year-old Hans M. Goeth of Kansas City, who had three warrants: a no-bond probation violation warrant, a Platte County FTA warrant ($5,000 cash or surety), and a Johnson County Probation violation warrant ($25,000). Charges are also being sought for forgery.

46-year-old Shawn W. Mantonya of Sedalia, who was held for possession of a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm.

38-year-old Tanya L. Carter of Sedalia, who was held on a forgery charge.

36-year-old Tara M. Dillon of Sedalia, who was charged with possession of a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm.
