George Whiteman Open House on Wednesday

An open house for all veterans will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the George Whiteman house at 623 W. 24th.

The house is where Lt. George A. Whiteman was raised. Whiteman Air Force Base is named after Lt. Whiteman.

The guest speaker on Wednesday will be Sedalia actress Kathleen Boswell, who will portray George's aunt, Mildred.
