You know, with technology moving forward like it does, it's good to connect back to some older methods of communication, like we did back when Santa was getting me presents.

This year, the U.S. Postal Service is helping you prove to your child that there really is a Santa Claus -- even if it’s you -- by making it easy for them to get a letter from Santa, complete with a North Pole postmark.

Here’s how you do it.  First, take your child’s letter to Santa and address it to Santa Claus, North Pole.  Then, write your response from Santa and drop it in the envelope as well.

Next, address the envelope to your child, with the return address of SANTA, NORTH POLE.

Affix a First-Class mail stamp, then put the letter into a larger envelope -- the Postal Service would prefer you use a Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope -- with appropriate postage, and send it to this address:

North Pole Postmark
Postmaster
4141 Postmark Drive
Anchorage, AK 99530-9998

Provided your letter is received no later than December 15, the Post Office will take care of the rest, and your child will receive a letter with a North Pole postmark.

The Postal Service also wants to share the letters on social media.  If you don't mind, they ask you to post a picture of your child with the letter from Santa, with the hashtag #LettersFromSanta.

Santa-ily yours,
Behka
