Residents from Green Ridge and Windsor were injured early Monday morning in a two-vehicle Johnson County wreck.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 6:30, on Highway Y just east of SW 1251 Road.

According to the online crash report, a 2001 Ford Taurus, driven by 78-year old Clyde W. Lynde, of Windsor, was attempting to make a left turn and traveled into the path of a 1999 Dodge Ram, driven by 30-year old Chad A. Curtis, of Green Ridge.

Lynde suffered serious injuries and was taken to Research Hospital, by LifeFlight, for treatment.

Curtis suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed.
