Gremlins Win in Three Sets

The Lady Gremlins traveled to Otterville, winning in three, where all Gremlins got to see some playing time.

Senior Sammy Altena once again led the Gremlins on the Court with 6 digs, 6 kills, 11 assist, and was very strong from the serving line with 6 aces and 10 points, not missing one all night!  Avery Epple contributed 5 aces, 5 kills, and 12 assist, while Sophia Carney led the team in kills with 12.

Juniors Epple and Carney shared some playing time in the third set giving Ebrinn Cahill and Sophie Anderson their first Varsity appearance of the season. Sophie Anderson had two great kills and the bench was ecstatic.

The win was well contributed by everyone; Libero Ellie Coruna had 7 digs, Emily Hesse had five serve receptions, Ava Stone 3 aces, Emilee Jackson led the team in blocks, and Freshman Kynslee Prewitt continues to be perfect from the serving line.

JV was off Monday night, but will travel again with Varsity on Tuesday where they will take on the Lincoln Cardinals.
