This morning I got to talk a little bit about a great project that's going to be coming to our area this summer.  I'm sure most people are familiar with Habitat for Humanity - they're a group that builds homes for families and individuals who are in extreme need.  With Sedalia's generous spirit, I'm sure that all of you will be interested in what they're doing.

They're going to have two meetings coming up this next week.  On Sunday, June 30, they'll be meeting the public at the First Baptist Church.  It's an informational meeting where they'll go over the requirements for people who want to apply for HFH.  If you know someone who's been down on their luck or who has gone through some hardship and could use a new house and the tools to learn how to take care of it, make sure you mention these meetings.  They could stop by, get the application, and find out if they're qualified.

The first meeting will be on Sunday at 7:00, at the FBC, and the second will be coming up on July 2 at the Celebration Center.  If you want to help the group, you should stop by there, too - I bet they can give you plenty of information about assistance.

Make sure you check it out, you won't regret working with this amazing group.

Habitat-ly yours,

Behka
