Husbando was a chef for about twelve years. In the beginning, he cooked a lot, and I learned a lot. Now I watch a lot of Food Network shows like The Pioneer Woman, Chopped, Trisha's Southern Kitchen, etc, etc. I probably do the lion's share of the cooking now.

Although, that doesn't stop me from trying to get out of it. It's always a little couch discussion about 4:00 p.m.

"What do you want to do for dinner?"
"I don't know, what are you thinking?"

You know how it goes. Although I've managed to sneak by him from time to time...

"What do you want to do for dinner?"
"I don't know, what are you going to cook?"

See? Clever. Anyway, most of the time when I'm cooking I don't like to get too crazy. If it ranks as something that would be difficult for Ted Allen to do, I'm out. So when I saw this video, I thought.... alright. I can do this.

I defrosted some chicken in the fridge the night before, set up the slow cooker on my lunch break, and bam. I did chop up some chives and parsley and mix em up in there. Done. I got some fancy onion rolls from Woods and that was dinner.

What do you think? Have you tried it, or would you like to? What other easy recipes should I try out on Husbando?

Cookingly yours,
Behka
