Help Trooper The Dog And Others Like Him By Eating Delicious Papa Murphy’s Pizza
You guys know I've had a bad spell lately where I'm watching every animal show I can get my mitts on, and every cute YouTube video I can, to fight the compulsion to adopt a dog.
This is not helping. Trooper the dog has a great story. He is a Border Collie mix that's about five months old. When he got to the shelter, they found he had a broken leg that had probably been that way for months. I've watched enough Dr Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet to know that's not an easy or inexpensive procedure. But, the Thompson Hills Animal Clinic says they can help with the surgery, and we're trying to raise some money for it.
Here's how you can help: On Thursday, March 30th, Papa Murphy's here in Sedalia will have a pizza night. When you order from Papa Murphy's between 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. that afternoon, twenty five percent of the order will go to be donated to the Trooper Fund. You can order over the phone at 827-5551, order online, or stop in the store at 3040 W Broadway Blvd, whatever is more convenient for you to help adorable little Trooper and other dogs like him. So why not get some delicious take and bake pizza for you and your family, and know that Trooper is getting the help he needs.
You can also drop off donations for Trooper and other dogs and cats who might need expensive medical procedures at the Shelter, 2420 South New York, or at the Municipal Building, 200 South Osage. You can also keep up with them on Facebook.
Look at that face. You know you just wanna give him all the scritches. He is the definition of a good boy. Thanks to Mery Rogers and Joleigh Melte for telling me all about Trooper!
