According to holidaysinstl.com, the 39th annual Ameren Thanks-for-Giving Parade will start at 9 am on Thanksgiving day in Downtown St. Louis. The parade will feature 7 marching bands, grand marshall BJ "The DJ" Holiday, and of course the big man in red...Santa! On the site, they say...

"This year, parade goers can expect over 120 parade units, including musical floats and displays, dance groups, drumlines, and marching bands from around the St. Louis region. As always, Santa Claus will be present to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season at the conclusion of the parade...Help the St. Louis Area Foodbank provide healthy and nutritious meals to thousands of families across the bi-state region this year by making an online donation."

The parade route starts at Market Street and Broadway and then heads west (away from the Arch and the River) down Market Street to Market and 14th (right where the Stifel Theatre is).
