On Friday night, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on an SUV at Casey's General Store, 1601 East Broadway Boulevard, for no working taillights.

After an investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated by drugs.

The driver was also in possession of meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Chad E. Campbell, 49, of Hermitage, was arrested, taken to a hospital, and then the Pettis County Jail.

Campbell was placed on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of state charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), felony Driving While Intoxicated (by drugs), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
