Hocus Pocus 2 debuted on Disney+ on Sept. 30 and it immediately cast a spell on fans all across the world.

Aside from the general nostalgia for the original 1993 film, many viewers took an interest in the sequel's soundtrack — in particular the song that plays right after the opening of the film sequence, when the movie flashes forward to present day.

The song is called "Skeleton Sam" and was first released by LVCRFT (pronounced Lovecraft) in 2019.

The song blew up shortly after its release three years ago, when it appeared in Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Hubie Halloween.

Outside of Netflix, the song has been featured in Freeform's 31 Nights of Halloween, in Spirit Halloween store locations and on SiriusXM.

Per a rep for LVCRFT, after its appearance in Hocus Pocus 2, the song went viral and is now the tenth most Shazammed song in the U.S

Consisting of Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Amanda “MNDR” Warner, Peter Wade, Sarah Barrios, Justin Gray, Trevis Romell, Bonnie McKee and Jarrad Moreno, members of the group are responsible for helping craft some of pop music's biggest hits, such as "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry, "Halo" by Beyonce, "Levitating" by Dua Lipa and "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz.

On Sept. 30, the group released their album Scream Warriors, which serves as their fourth annual Halloween album.

Outside of containing a viral song, Hocus Pocus 2 is the No. 1 film premiere on Disney+ domestically to date, based on hours streamed in the first three days of its release, according to a press release from Disney.

According to IMDb, Hocus Pocus 2 is about two young girls who accidentally bring back the infamous Sanderson Sisters to modern-day Salem. The girls must stop the witchy sisters before they wreak havoc on Salem.
