On Thursday, January 30, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Unit, the Warrensburg Police Department Proactive Crime Unit, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, the Holden Police Department, and Warrensburg Police Department Joint Special Weapons and Tactics Team, executed a narcotics related search warrant in the 1600 block S Market Street, Holden.

Due to the residence close proximity of the Holden RIII schools the Holden Police Department contacted the school district prior to the execution of the search warrant.

The Holden RIII Schools were placed on lockdown until the Joint Special Weapons and Tactics Team secured the residence.

During the investigation, 20-year-old Blake D Ripley of Holden, was arrested on a 24 hour investigative hold for possession of a controlled substance, amphetamine / possession of a controlled substance, synthetic narcotic / possession of a controlled substance, hallucinogens and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
