Husbando Happily Broke Out The Grill This Weekend

You know what it's like, when the male species starts to draw himself to fire.It happens periodically throughout the year, often in times of spring or autumn. The male appears, he announces he has meat, and he proceeds to make fire.

So what I'm saying is, Husbando grilled out for the first time this year this weekend. It was pretty perfect weather for it, not too hot, not too cold.  Nice and clear.  And it turned out pretty well.

As you can obviously see, he loves to photographed.  Loves it. He looks so happy to be bothered by his wife while he's communing with his grill.

Meat! Jalapeno things!  Foods!

It was pretty good.  There's just something about the first grilling out of the year that makes everyone happy.   Since I'd had such a pleasant dinner, I decided to treat Husbando to some homemade peanut butter cookies. Well, it wasn't that complicated, actually. I just followed the recipe on the back of the packet of brown sugar.  I put a little crunchy peanut butter and a little crunchy almond butter in it, too.

............but that also meant I left a little bit of a mess in the kitchen.

Hey, it happens, right? Ya gotta make a little mess for homemade goodies!
