Ticketmaster.  It's a huge thing. Today is a big nerdy day for me, and I am going to ATTEMPT to buy concert tickets.  That means I have to go to Ticketmaster, right? Right.

Well, here's the thing, though.  I remember reading last year that Ticketmaster has a relationship with scalpers.  They use bot sites to buy up tickets super quick, and then resell them again for more money.  So I'm thinking that what might happen is that this concert gets sold out in like five minutes, I don't get tickets, and then I look on resell sites to see the price is doubled.  And it was already expensive.

I don't think I can buy resold tickets, that is probably out of my price range.

But I'm holding out hope, watching the little countdown.

It's taunting me.  It has been for a week now.

But then, I did get Paul McCartney tickets in Chicago through Ticketmaster.  That was a sold out show that was gone in minutes, too.  Maybe I'll get lucky.  Maybe not.  Who knows, you know?  But you know I'm gonna be here, sitting at this computer, at 10:00 a.m. trying to buy these tickets.  Don't worry, I won't be buying them on company time (that's my lunch hour).  IF I can get them, that is.

Unless someone wants to buy them for my birthday........

Honestly I can't remember the last concert I paid to go see.  I wanna say it was maybe the Avett Brothers?  I mean, I've seen concerts at the Fair and stuff, but that's different.

Have you ever tried to buy concert tickets and failed?  What's the last concert you saw? What's the best concert you ever went to?

Ticketingly yours,

Behka
