I'm going to focus on the positive.  Really.  It's just a hard road to get there.

I've been out to the Missouri State Fair every year here for the stations.  It's just something you take for granted, that we'll be out there.  And after awhile, you eat so much food and you see so many people and you do so many things that you get what I like to call "Fair Fatigue".  It's not that you're not enjoying yourself, you're just exhausted!

How can I have FF in one day?! I don't know what it was, but all day I was feeling somewhat anxious about the first day of the Fair.  I tried to get a nap in earlier in the day before I had to go out there, but no go.  I finally managed to end the day and things went well, but then I forgot to return the key for our shed outpost, which caused problems.  And you know how I hate to cause problems.

So that, combined with the excitement of then day, combined with the heat, combined with nerves... means I didn't get a single wink of sleep last night.  I went to bed at nine, and finally gave up at four.  I just tossed and turned all night.  My cats were even annoyed with me and didn't want to sleep next to me anymore.  Can't imagine what poor Husbando was thinking.

I don't know, my brain just wouldn't turn off.  So I'm going to focus on the positive of the day today, and try to de-stress, and hope that I don't get too cranky.  I will probably collapse at like, five tonight, ha!

Fatiguely yours,

Behka
