A 34-year-old Sedalia woman was arrested on September 25 after a traffic stop, during which a police K9 alerted to the presence of a narcotic odor. According to Sedalia Police, a Toyota minivan was stopped in the area of N. Engineer and E. Howard St. for a temporary tag violation. The driver, 34-year-old Tiah Marie Hatcher, was found to have an active felony drug-related warrant from Pettis County. The K9 unit was deployed on the vehicle, and further investigation revealed that Hatcher was in possession of controlled prescription narcotic medications. Hatcher was taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
