Kansas City Driver Killed in Head-on Crash

A 68-year old Kansas City woman was killed Monday night in a head-on vehicle crash in Jackson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 7:00, on MO-350 east of Sterling.

According to the online crash report, a Chevrolet was traveling west in the eastbound lane, when it struck a Jeep head-on.

The driver of the Chevy, 68-year old June R. Lamothe, of Kansas City, MO, was pronounced deceased a short time later at Research Medical Center.

The driver of the Jeep, 21-year old Isaiah S. Miles, of Raytown, suffered minor injuries. He reportedly declined medical treatment.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed.
