KC Man Injured in Tractor Trailer Crash

A Kansas City man was injured in a crash involving two tractor trailers Monday morning in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2019 International, driven by 36-year-old Jefferey A. Roland of Kansas City, was on US 50, 300 feet west of Prairie Grove Road around 9:30 a.m., when it overtook the rear of a 1996 Freightliner, driven by 27-year-old Carl J. Arnett of La Monte. The International struck the towed unit of the Freightliner.

Roland suffered minor injuries and was treated on scene.

The Freightliner had minor damage, while the International had extensive damage.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.
