Kansas City International Airport is reporting via Twitter that a fiber cut is impacting some airlines internet service at Kansas City International Airport.

KSHB noted that it appears that the KCI website is being impacted by the outage, and is suggesting that passengers can check the status of their flights' on airline websites.

At 11:50AM CDT flightview.com is showing KCI's status as "normal" with minimal delays, so right now the internet outage seems more of a passenger inconvenience than a problem that's impacting actual air service.

A KCI spokesperson told KSHB the airport doesn't know when the internet service will be restored.
